At Micron Precision you won’t find the President or Secretary sitting in fancy corner offices checking the stock market, if you want to find them you will have to put on your safety glasses and boots, and venture onto the shop floor because both Wayne and James are machinists first and foremost, and spend their day doing what they do best, making quality parts to make your ideas a reality. Of course you may occasionally find them in their office; they have to sit somewhere to pull the metal chips out of their boots.

Their commitment to the business and their shop floor experience and expertise are the main reasons that Micron Precision is at the forefront of precision machining in the national capital region, keeping them there is a dedicated and talented team of employees with 200 years of collective machining experience. Except for our 2 apprentices, all our employees are qualified machinists, not machine operators, when they find a problem in machining a component they have the experience and knowledge to solve it. Chances are if our team can’t make your parts then probably no one can.

By having this upfront involvement we are able to identify potential manufacturing problems and make suggestions to remove or improve them thereby saving unnecessary manufacturing expenses at a later date.

Since our opening in 1994 we have made parts from the size of a needle to an access door for an armored personnel carrier, we have worked in Telecommunications, Medical implants, Military, Space and Aerospace to name just a few.
